Transfering Your Urban Decay Primer Potion Tutorial
Okay, so we're all familiar with the famous Urban Decay Primer Potion and the amazing thing it does to your eyeshadow. Little did we know that this sophisticated "genie-like" bottle carries more than what they want you to believe. I've seen other ladies do this so I just had to try it out myself. After I've completed it, I was just in complete awe at how much primer was left in the bottle. And so, as an Urban Decay Cosmetics user, I just had to cut this baby open to get my money's worth.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
your UDPP
a small jar with an air tight cap
[i'm using a small MAC jar that once had a sample pigment]
an x-acto knife with a sharp blade or a kitchen knife will do
with your x-acto knife or kitchen knife, carefully cut the bottom section of your UDPP where it is most narrow.
STEP 2:
with the sponge applicator, scoop out the UDPP until you've gotten most of the product out.
STEP 3:
place it into your empty jar.
note: for best results, I tapped the jar gently on the table so the UDPP won't build up around the rim of the jar.
STEP 4:
with your knife, carefully cut through the widest section of your UDPP.
this is what it should look like. Look at all that extra UDPP. It surprised me so much!!
STEP 5:
again, with your sponge applicator, scoop out as much UDPP.
STEP 6:
place it into your jar. [don't forget to gently tap it on your table to get the product deep into the jar & so it doesn't leave any air bubbles]
here's what a successfully empty bottle of UDPP should look like. AMAZING!!
At last, I've completely filled up the jar of UDPP!!
So does this mean I'm going to discontinue purchasing this product? Of course not. It's a great product and it works wonders. I highly doubt that Urban Decay is intentionally trying to rip off its buyers. I think the "genie-like" bottle is to attract its customers. I mean, what's the point of naming it a primer potion if it's not in an appealing bottle like that.
Anyway, FOTDs will be posted soon. Talk to you guys later. Peace ♥
